Black Mesa is the Half-Life 2 total conversion of the original Half-Life game. Utilizing the Source engine and its endless array of possibilities and powers, Black Mesa will throw you into the world that started the Half-Life continuum and introduced Gordon Freeman to the world as a gun-toting, bullet-dodging Ph.D. In Theoretical Physics. The soundtrack for the recently released Half-Life: Alyx is available, too. At least, some of it, as Valve is releasing the soundtrack in small chunks. “The Half-Life Alyx Soundtrack will be released in a chronological fashion following the chapters of the game,” Valve said in a statement on its website. Half-Life: Alyx is Valve’s VR return to the Half-Life series. It’s the story of an impossible fight against a vicious alien race known as the Combine, set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2. Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival.

- Half Life Alyx Game
The PS5 and PSVR2 will get Half Life Alyx but most likely running on medium settings. I will get a PS5 for this reason unless Xbox gets the game as well. The Series X would allow me to play the game at Ultra settings. Thanks to Alyx’s success, Half Life 3 being a VR game is all but certain, and it may well be the biggest game of the generation.
The Half-Life 2: Episode One soundtrack was composed by Kelly Bailey. It was released in part on The Orange Box Original Soundtrack.
Using an appropriate program, it is possible to extract all audio tracks heard in-game from the ep1_pak_dir.vpk
archive file. The soundtrack was also included in the game directory of both the full and demo Audiosurf releases on Steam as part of Audiosurf's The Orange Box Soundtrack. On September 24, 2014, the soundtrack was made available as free DLC to all owners of the game on on Steam. On March 16, 2020, Valve partnered with independent record label Ipecac Recordings to release several of the Half-Life series soundtracks on streaming services.[1]

Set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, Alyx Vance and her father Eli mount an early resistance to the Combine's brutal occupation of Earth.
The loss of the Seven-Hour War is still fresh. In the shadow of a rising Combine fortress known as the Citadel, residents of City 17 learn to live under the rule of their invaders. But among this scattered population are two of Earth's most resourceful scientists: Dr. Eli Vance and his daughter Alyx, the founders of a fledgling resistance.
You and your father were relocated to City 17. In the years since, you've continued your clandestine scientific activity—performing critical research, and building invaluable tools for the few humans brave enough to defy the Combine.
Every day you learn more about your enemy, and every day you work toward finding a weakness.
Lean around a broken wall and under a barnacle to make an impossible shot. Rummage through shelves to find a healing syringe and some shotgun shells. Manipulate tools to hack alien interfaces. Tear a headcrab off your face and throw it out the window. VR was built for the kind of gameplay that sits at the heart of Half-Life.
Half-Life: Alyx supports a variety of play environments, locomotion methods, and input devices.
If you have VR hardware that works with a computer, then it works with SteamVR.
If you don’t yet own any VR hardware, now's the time. Headsets support different sets of features, so the experience will vary between them. Half-Life: Alyx was built hand in hand with Valve Index, which is the highest fidelity option on the market, but the game works great with Vive, Rift and Windows Mixed Reality too. Check out the different options to choose which one is right for you.
