This video will show and explain to you how to make a basic, first ship in Avorion out of Iron and Titanium. All needed parts and devices are installed and the ship is designed in such a way to allow for easy upgrading and expanding later. Special care is given to placement an thrusters and engines as well as turrets. Together they were working hard toward the full release of the game. So that’s it, this is the general structure of the Avorion procedural generation algorithms. The reasoning behind the 60 to 40 per cent ratio was that civilized territory could grow very large at times, and not having uncivilized sectors would mean players would be unable to find pirate encounters or other goodies. Avorion is a space-sim sandbox game where you build your own ships and fight, trade, mine and explore your way to the center of the galaxy.
This is a very simple mod that shows how to replace assets through mods.

This mod provides no scripts but a few assets. The assets provided here will shadow (or replace) the vanilla ones that are used by the game.

Note: Even though only textures are replaced in this case, you can replace nearly all assets in the game, including music, plan xml files, sfx files and so on.

This mod only introduces visual aesthetics changes that the server doesn't know (and doesn't have to know) about.saveGameAltering = false
The mod doesn't add any new scripts or assets to the game, so it doesn't alter save games in a way that they might become corrupted once the mod is no longer active. Client side only mods never alter save games, since saves are a server-only thing.

Well, today I tried to enter the server again and it worked. I lost my ship tho, but I kept the progress. All the sectors I visited are still explored and I kept my inventory. Weird. Maybe it had something to do with the restart of the server where I stayed until it restarted. And now I couldnt play until it restarted again?Problems connecting to an online Server

Hey guys, So I was playing on this Server ([DE][PvE-PvP] Endlose Wüste - 94.130.21.221) for quite a while now and after the last restart the server made I cant connect to it anymore. I can connect to all other servers but this one.
